I went to go see Amanda last night... I do not mind the hour drive at all! She makes me happy in a very indescribable way. We sat and talked on the dock by the pond until it was time for her to go pick up Destiny. While she was out picking up Destiny, I went inside and chatted with her parents... Got into some nice conversations about the Upper Peninsula.
We played with Destiny for a little while which is fun but takes so much energy... I feel old; I never thought I would get to the point where a 5 year old could wear me out so much! We had leftovers for dinner, which Amanda’s mother apparently thought it was amazing that I like or will even eat leftovers. Besides the fact that I'm used to leftovers and do like them, there is the fact that Spaghetti seems better the next day or 2 later anyways.
After Amanda tucked Destiny into bed we went downstairs and watched TV for a while. I also was teaching her how to play spades. It's amazing; we don't really have to be doing anything special at all yet we are both happy just because we are with each other.
I have never been with someone who is so sweet and caring before. The little things are as important to her as they are to me… she shows me she cares! She is also incredibly beautiful and intelligent! I'm happier than I think I ever have been.
So, The night at Amanda's was wonderful as usual... My day before that (at work) was actually pretty good now that I think about it. We got our licensing for Windows 2000... I will soon start the long process of getting rid of 98 in the City completely... Only 80 machines or so to do! I think I might need to talk to Rob about certain deployment methods that I might be able to do for automated installs rather than going to each machine... I think he has had experience with this.
I also was working on some scripted Batch files that will zip our tax and assessing data files and then FTP them to the County. Nothing too hard, I haven’t done that kind of scripting in a while but it should be easy enough. Oh, and the City Manager has some personal computer problems at home... I can take time after work (probably today) to fix his problems and make a little extra cash on the side. It's funny, Rob and I no longer have our Computer repair business yet some of our clients still find me and ask me to do work on the side once in a while... I guess we must have always done a good job.
I will get to work here shortly... Right now I am going to enjoy some of the cookies that Amanda's Mother baked and gave to me. I guess I am well liked over there, which is a really good thing!
Oh yeah, Sorry Sean... I didn’t check my voice mail or notice until I was on my way home last night... To answer your question (which you probably know by now) I do not own Dodge ball... I planned on buying it but never got around to it.
And Ben... I have been listening to different CD's when I drive to Amanda's house... I ran across one of your CD's it is a Heathen CD with a couple (TSHF) Megadeth songs at the end. I think its Heathen anyway... It's actually pretty good! What is that instrumental (song 9) I really like that one?
Edit: I just found out or rather remembered that this month is a COLA check month! Extra Money is good!

As for the rollout, yeah, I do have some experience with that, I had setup a image using sysprep in order to redetect all of the devices on first bootup. It's really easy to do, I'll end up talking to you today and I'll tell you about it.
Oh, I sent a e-mail to kev asking him what he changed the stuff around to on the server, I have no clue. He hasn't responded yet. I did check back on Easyspeedy, and it looks like his last payment was about 99 euros. I think that was two payments, so it'll prolly be like 270 US to get it up to current. Not sure though. I have no idea why the website is down, and why it is not starting since I can SSH to the server using www.foreveruntold.com. I don't know what I have to do to start the web service. Maybe you can help me by looking at it. root password is my standard.
